Füroy Saydam

1985 Bursa doğumlu. Zeki Müren Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi,Uludağ Üniversitesi Resim İş Öğretmenliği mezunu olan Füroy Saydam, İlk kişisel sergisini 2002 yılında Şefik Bursalı Sanat galerisinde "tuale düşen ilk adımlar "adında açmıştır.

Resimlerinde,yüzeyi yalnızca bir taşıyıcı değil bir hafıza alanı,ruhsal doku ve varoluşşsal bir kayıt mekanı olarak ele alır.Çizgisel ağlar,kalın boya katmanları,mineral etkili dokular,içsel araştırmasının görsel karşılıklarıdır.Onun resimleri,izleyiciyi figürle değil,figürün ardındaki bilinç ile;soyut yüzey ile değil,soyutun işaret ettiği içsel devinimle yüzleştirir.

Ressamın,tek bir renk,tek bir üslüptan ziyade,meraklı çocuk edası ile keşif halinde olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Kendi içsel yolcuğu,yaşamın çok renkli oluşu ve iniş çıkışları,açı ve algılarını koşullara boyun eğmeden eldeki malzemeleri ile çeşitlendirmiş,hayatın ne kadar da renklerle dolu olduğunu bir kez daha bize hatırlatmıştır.

Onun resimlerine baktığımızda içsel kargaşasının ne denli derin olduğunu, resme sığınmaktan başka çaresinin olmadığını hissederiz.. O,resmetmeyi terapi,kendini ifade ettiği renkleriyle oynaşan bir çocuk gibidir..

Bursa da açmış olduğu Banyan Sanat Atölyesini kapatıp Ege ye göç ederek uzun zamandır inzivaya çekilen sanatçı,şimdilerde tekrar sergilere ve çalışmalarına başlamak üzerine kaldığı yerden devam etmektedir..

Füroy Saydam
Born in Bursa in 1985. A graduate of Zeki Müren Fine Arts High School and Uludağ University, Department of Art Teaching, Füroy Saydam held her first solo exhibition in 2002 at Şefik Bursalı Art Gallery under the title “First Steps Falling onto the Canvas.”

In her paintings, she treats the surface not merely as a carrier but as a field of memory, a spiritual texture, and an existential recording space. Linear networks, thick layers of paint, and mineral-like textures are the visual counterparts of her inner research. Her works confront the viewer not with the figure itself, but with the consciousness behind the figure, not with the abstract surface, but with the inner movement that abstraction points toward.

Rather than adhering to a single color or a single style, the artist can be described as being in a constant state of exploration, with the curiosity of a child. Her own inner journey, the colorful nature of life with its ups and downs, and her perspectives and perceptions—developed without yielding to circumstances—have diversified through the materials at hand, reminding us once again how full of color life truly is.

When we look at her paintings, we sense how deep her inner turmoil is, and that taking refuge in painting seems to be her only option. She is like a child who treats painting as therapy, playing with the colors through which she expresses herself.

After closing the Banyan Art Studio she had opened in Bursa and migrating to the Aegean region, the artist withdrew into seclusion for a long time. Today, she is continuing from where she left off, preparing to return to exhibitions and artistic production.
